Stir-Fried Green Beans

1 pound | green beans, washed, stems removed |
1 tablespoon | coconut oil |
3 cloves | garlic, chopped |
1 tablespoon | fermented soy sauce |
Bring a large pot of water to boil. Place beans in boiling water and cook for 3 minutes. Using tongs or a large slotted spoon, remove beans and place them in a large bowl. Drain the pot. In the now-empty pot, melt coconut oil over medium heat. Add green beans and stir occasionally until parts of the beans turn golden brown. Make a well in the center of the pan and add garlic. Stir garlic in the middle of the pan until fragrant, about 45 seconds, then stir into the green beans. Add the soy sauce and stir until coated. Serve immediately.
