125 gm | margarine |
250 ml | flour |
65 ml | milk |
15 ml | baking powder |
45 ml | cinnamon |
765 gm | pie apples |
Cream sugar and butter together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour and baking powder together. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Spoon mixture into 60x30 cm dish. Press apples into mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake at 180 for 30 - 35 minutes. Topping | |

Combine together and bring to the boil. Cook for a few minutes.
Pour over warm apple cake.
Serve hot or cold with cream and custard.
