Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf

Ingredients | |
1 pound | ground beef |
2 | eggs |
1/2 cup | diced onion |
1/4 cup | Ketchup |
1 tsp | garlic powder |
1 tsp | onion powder |
37 | saltine crackers, crushed |
1 pound | bacon |
Directions
1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
2.) In a large bowl mix ground beef, eggs, diced onions, ketchup, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mixing with your hands is best. Mix it well.
3.) Crush the crackers while still in their sleeve.
4.) Pour crushed crackers into beef. Mix the crackers into the beef mixture well.
5.) Form into a loaf shape and set aside.
6.) Take the bacon and divide it into even amount.
7.) Take 1/2 of the bacon and lay side by side long ways.
8.) fold every other bacon strip in 1/2.
9.) Lay 1 of the other half of the reserved bacon strips across.
10.) Unfold the half folded bacon strip.
11.) Fold the other every other bacon strips that were not folded in the previous step.
12.) Lay a slice of bacon across and then unfold.
13.) Repeat until you run out of room.
14.) Start on the other half of the bacon strip until you have made a weave.
15.) Place the loaf shaped beef mixture into the center of your bacon weave.
16) Wrap the weave around the beef loaf shaped mixture.
17.) Flip the bacon wrapped meat loaf upside down, making the ends of the bacon tuck under the loaf.
18.) Place the loaf in thee center of the oven on a cookie sheet.
19.) It takes about an hour to cook.
