Black Forest Inn's Cabbage Soup

1 Small Cabbage, diced
4 Cups Water
2 Smoked Sausages - Cubed
1/2 Tsp. Caraway Seeds
Salt and Pepper
3 T. Butter or Oil
1 Small Onion - Chopped
4 T. Flour
1 T. White Vinegar
1 Tsp. Parsley, chopped
Method:
Combine cabbage, water, sausages and seasonings in a large sausepan. Bring to boil
and simmer until cabbage is tender.
Melt butter in a medium frying pan, add onions and flour. Fry until golden brown, then
pour into the cabbage soup, stirring constantly. Bring to boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add vinegar and chopped parsley.
