1 Lb. | Lean Ground Beef |
1/2 Lb. | Ground Pork |
1 Pkg. | Lasagne Noodles |
2 T. | Cooking Oil |
2 Cloves | Garlic |
1 Medium | Onion |
2 Tsp. | Salt |
1/4 Tsp. | Pepper |
1/2 Tsp. | Basil |
1 T. | Minced Parsley |
2 6-oz | Tomato Paste |
1-1/2 Cups | Hot Water |
2 Large | Beaten Eggs |
1 Pint | Cottage Cheese,, (small curd) |
1/2 Lb. | Mozzerella Cheese |
1.4 Cup | Grated Parmesan Cheese |
Method: Brown Pork and Beef in Cooking Oil in frying pan until cooked and crumbly. Add Garlic, Onion, salt and pepper Basil and minced parsley and cook for 5 minutes. Add tomato paste and hot water and cook for 15 minutes. Cook noodles until tender and leave in cold water until ready to use. Add cottage cheese to beaten eggs. In a large Lasagne Pan add thin layer of Meat Sauce. Then add half of the well drained noodles. Then add all the cottage and egg mixture. Next add half of the sliced Mozzeralla Cheese. Add half of the remaining meat sauce, rest of the noodles, rest of the sauce and the remaining Mozzeralla Cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan | |

Bake in 350 Degree oven for 30 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
