Seven-Layer Dip (classic 70s version)

1/4 cup | sour cream |
1/4 cup | mayo |
1 10-oz can | refried beans |
1 pkg | taco seasoning |
2 | avocados |
Juice of 1/2 | lime |
Pinch | kosher salt |
1/4 tsp | freshly cracked black pepper |
1 cup | finely shredded cheddar cheese |
1 medium | tomato, peeled, seeded & chopped |
1/4 cup | sliced black olives |
1 | green onion sliced |
Blend sour cream and mayo. Set aside. In another bowl, warm refried beans in the microwave for 1minute, then stir in taco seasoning and mix well. Set aside. Cut avocados in half & scoop out contents into a clean bowl. Add lime juice, salt & pepper, then mash using a potato masher. Layer as follows in a clear glass pie dish: Refried beans | |
