Mussel stew

1 ˝ cup | mussel shelled |
2 tablespoon | butter |
1 | onion chopped |
1-2 cloves | garlic chopped |
1 ˝ cups | milk |
˝ cup | cream |
˝ teaspoon | salt |
˝ teaspoon | paprika |
2 tablespoons | parsley chopped |
Steam the mussels, strain and reserve the liquor.
Sauté onion and garlic with butter on the top of a double boiler over direct heat.
Add mussel with liquor and the rest of the ingredients except parsley. Place the double boiler over ? not in ? boiling water until milk is hot and mussels are cooked. Add the chopped parsley before serving.
