Mussel stew

    1 ˝ cup  mussel shelled
    2 tablespoon  butter
    1  onion chopped
    1-2 cloves  garlic chopped
    1 ˝ cups  milk
    ˝ cup  cream
    ˝ teaspoon  salt
    ˝ teaspoon  paprika
    2 tablespoons  parsley chopped

Steam the mussels, strain and reserve the liquor.
Sauté onion and garlic with butter on the top of a double boiler over direct heat.
Add mussel with liquor and the rest of the ingredients except parsley. Place the double boiler over ? not in ? boiling water until milk is hot and mussels are cooked. Add the chopped parsley before serving.
