3 cups | click peas or 2, (15 ounces can) chickpeas drained and rinsed |
1/2 cup | warm water |
3 tbsp | lime juice |
1 1/2 tsp | ground cumin |
1 Tbsp | tahini |
1 tbsp | minced garlic |
1 tbsp | salt2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro |
Place chickpeas in water, lime juice, tahini, cumin and garlic in food processor. Process for about 4 minutes or unit very smooth. Add an extra Tbsp of water if necessary. Transfer to bowl and stir in cilantro
