1 Cup | Shortening |
1 Large | Egg |
1 Tsp. | Salt |
1/2 Cup | Raspberry Jam |
1 Cup | Brown Sugar |
1 Tsp | Vanilla |
2-1/4 Cups | Cake Flour |
1 T. | Icing Sugar |
1/2 Cup | Finely Chopped Nuts,, (Pecans) toasted |
Method:
Cream to-gether brown sugar and shortening, add egg vanilla and salt. Mix well. Add flour.
Place dough on cookie sheet and roll1/4 inch thick.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Spread hot cookie with jam. Dust with icing sugar and nuts.
