Maraschino Cherry Cake

Ingredients:
1 16 Oz. Jar Maraschino Cherries
4 Cups All-Purpose Flour
2 Tsp. Baking Powder
1 Tsp. Salt
1-1/2 Cups Butter, softened
2 Cups White Sugar
4 Large Eggs
2 Tsp. Vanilla
1 Tsp. Lemon Extract
1 Tsp.. Almond Extract
1 Cup Milk
Method:
Preheat over to 325 Degrees F. Drain cherries and dry thoroughly on paper towel. Sift
flour, baking powder and salt to-gether. Coat cherries with a little flour. Add eggs one
at a time beating well after each addition. Add flavourings. Stir in remaining flour,
mixed alternately with milk. When smoothly blended, add the cherries. Bake in a well-
greased and floured tube pan or 2 small loaf pans. Bake approximately 2 hours. Check
for doneness after 1-1/2 hours.
