BREAD & BUTTER PICKLES

25 Medium | Cucumbers, thinly sliced, (or 30-50 Small) |
12 Medium | Onions, thinly sliced, (or 6 large) |
Sweet Bell Pepper, optional to taste | |
Soak in ice water 3 hours Continue adding ice. | |
5 cups | White Distilled Vinegar |
5 cups | Sugar |
1 T | Pickling Spice |
1 T | Tumineric |
Boil for 5 minutes.
Drain iced cucumbers.
Add drained cucumbers to hot spice mixture. Heat to just before boiling. Have jars & lids ready. Pour into jars and set to seal.
