Beef and Mushroom Stuffed Pita Pockets

Ingredients
1-1/2 Lbs. Lean Ground Beef
2 Medium Carrots, diced
1-1/2 Cups Mushrooms, sliced
1/3 Cup H.P. Sauce
1/3 Cup Light Cream
2 T. Fine Dry Bread Crumbs
1/2 Tsp. Dried Thyme Leaves
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1/4 Tsp. Pepper
6 White Pita Breads
3 Green Onions
Method
In a large frying pan, brown ground beef. Stir in carrots and mushrooms.
Saute for 3 minutes. Stir in Green Onions, and saute for 2 more minutes.
Drain of excess fat. Stir in remaining ingredients except for pita breads.
Place over low heat for 1 minute or just until heated through.
Cut Pita Breads in half. Open each half and fill with mixture.
