1/2 half pound | dried chick peas, cooked in slow cooker until very very soft (all day or over night) |
1/4 cup | olive oil |
1 tsp | salt |
1/2 cup | water from cooked peas, wait and add this at the end for consistency |
2 tbsp | lemon juice |
2 tsp | cumin |
3/4 tsp | garlic powder |
1/2 cup | tahini |
3/4 tsp | tobasco |
When I created this receipe I started with a whole pound of chick peas. The volume was too much for a food processor. I ended up pureeing the peas in the food processor and fininshing with a mixer.
Refrigerate mixture overnight before adjusting spices.
