Cucumber Relish

7 | cucumbers |
5 large | onions |
4 c. | white sugar |
1/2 c. | flour |
1 c. | cold water |
3 c. | white vinegar |
1 tsp. | tumeric |
3/4 tsp | mustard seed |
1 tsp | ginger |
3 or 4 | red sweet peppers, (grind) |
Sprinkle cucumbers and onions with pickeling salt. Let stand 1 hour or overnight and then drain.
Then add sugar, flour, water, vinegar, tumeric, mustard seed, ginger, and sweet peppers.
Notes:
Mix flour and cold water together before adding make sure th eflour is dissolved
Do not sprinkle the pickling salt on red pepers
Place in sterile jars and can to seal jars
