Pork Roast w/Apples & Sage

Pork Roast w/Apples & Sage 10min prep; 5-7 hour low | |
4 tsp | chopped fresh sage |
1Tbsp | minced garlic |
1 tsp | kosher salt |
1/2 tsp | ground black pepper |
1 2, 3/4 boneless pork loin roast, well trimmed | |
1 jar (12oz) | pork gravy, bistro au jus |
4 med | gala apples |
A) Mix sage, garlic, salt and pepper in small cup. Spread over top of pork.
B) Place gravy in a 4qt slow cooker. Core 2 apples and coarsley chop, add yo gravy. Place pork on top.
C) cover and cook on low 5-7 hours. Core and cut remaining apples into wedges; add to cooker last hour
D) remove pork and apples wedges to a tray, let stand. Remove chopped apples with slotted spoon to food processor, puree. Add 1 cup of cooking liquid to puree; warm. Slice pork, serve with apple wedges and apple gravy.
