Rich and moist sour cream chocolate, chocolate chip banana bread

Ingredients: | |
1 stick | salted butter, softened to room temperature |
1/2 cup | sugar |
1 | egg |
1 tsp | vanilla |
1 c | flour |
1 t | baking soda |
2 tbs | cocoa powder |
2 large | ripened bananas mashed |
1/2 cup | sour cream |
1 cup mini | chocolate chips |
Optional 1/2 cup walnuts
Directions :
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x5 loaf pan, or 2 mini pans with no stick spray. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar together. Stir in egg, mashed bananas, sour cream, vanilla until well blended; add baking soda, cocoa and flour. Mix everything until well incorporated ( about 3 minutes with a kitchen mixer. Add chocolate chips and nuts if applicable; pour into loaf pan and bake 50 minutes to an hour. Insert a toothpick in center to see if comes out clean then it is done. Allow to rest 10 minutes then invert on a cooling rack.
