| 220 ml (1cup) | caster sugar |
| Food coloring |
Preheat oven to 120.
Beat egg whites and salt until soft peaks form.
Add caster sugar and coloring and beat for 2-3 minutes until sugar has dissolved.
Spoon onto greased baking tray.
Place in oven and turn temperature down to 90.
Bake for about 1 1/2 hours. Switch oven off and leave to dry out in the oven for about 3 hours.
