Apple Donuts

| 3 1/3 cups | flour, (whole wheat pastry flour or unableached all purpose flour) |
| 1 cup | applesauce |
| 3/4 cup | sugar |
| 2 tablespoons | butter |
| 3 teaspoons | baking powder |
| 1 teaspoon | ground cinnamon |
| 1/2 teaspoon | salt |
| 2 | eggs |
1. Beat 1 1/3 cups of flour and the remaining ingredients in a large bowl until blended. Stir in remaining flour. Cover and refrigerate about a hour till dough siffens
2. Heat veggie oil till 375. Roll dough out
3. Slide into hot oil turn as they rise. 1-1.5 mins each side till golden. Drain on towels, turn in cinnamon and sugar.
