Turkey and White bean Soup

500g | turkey sausage casing removed |
1 small | onion diced |
1 | jalapeƱo diced |
1 garlic clove minced | |
2 tsp | chili powder |
2 tbsp | tomato paste |
4 cups | chicken broth |
1 can | white kidney beans drained and rinsed |
2 cups | packed chopped kale |
1/4 cup | lime juice |
1. Heat large pot over med heat. Add sausage. Break up meat as you cook. Cook until no pink remains about 5 min. Stir in onions, pepper, garlic, chili powder, and tomato paste. Cook until onions start to soften 2-3 min.
2. Add broth and 2 cups water. Bring to a boil. Reduce to med add kale and beans. Stir occasionally cooking about 5 more min. Stir in lime juice just before serving. 274 cals 28g protein 22g carbs 9g fat 7g fibre
