Jamaican Jerk Barbecue Sauce

1½ C | Ketchup |
⅓ C | Soy Sauce |
2 T | Hot Sauce |
3 | Green Onions, chopped |
3 Cloves | Garlic, sliced |
3 (1″) Pieces of Peeled Ginger\ | |
½ C | Chopped Red Bell Pepper |
1 Serrano Chiles, diced | |
2 t (or one stick) | Cinnamon |
1 t | Whole Allspice |
⅓ C | Packed Brown Sugar |
⅓ C | Cider Vinegar |
Instructions
Put all ingredients in a sauce pan. Heat until boiling. Stir until sugar is dissolved, then remove from heat (about 6 minutes). Let cool 30 minutes or so then put in a blender and blend until smooth.
Makes about 2 Cups.
