Dad's Tomato Soup

| 4 Tbs. | butter |
| 6 Tbs. | flour |
| 5 cups | milk |
| 1 Tbs. | dried chopped onion |
| 92 oz. | tomato juice |
| 12 oz. | tomato paste |
| 4 Tsp. | sugar |
| 1/4 Tsp. | onion powder |
| 1/8 Tsp. | garlic powder |
| salt | |
| pepper |
Directions:
Melt butter in soup pot. Add onion and cook till soft. Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute. Gradually add tomato juice and whisk to blend. Stir in milk. Season with sugar, onion powder and garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste.
