Bolognese sauce (Dean's)

1 lb | ground meat,, (chicken, turkey, beef, or pork) |
4-5 slices | bacon |
1-11.5 oz can | V-8, (low sodium or reg. just adjust salt accordingly) |
1/2 or 1 medium | onion diced |
1 tsp. | minced garlic or 3 whole smashed cloves |
1 tsp | dried thyme or Italian seasoning |
1/2 cup | red wine |
1/2 cup | whole milk |
2-3 T | olive oil |
3-4 T | butter |
Cook onions in Olive oil for 5-10 minutes Until translucent season with pinch of salt.
Add meat and cook until most of water is cooked off.
Add V-8, garlic, butter, thyme and cook until most moisture is gone. Add wine cook until moisture is gone. Add milk cook until thickened.
ADD 1 C BEEF BROTH AND 1 T TOMATO PASTE?
