Peach cobbler

    4 c.  peach
    2 c.  sugar
    1/2 c.  water
    8 tbs.  butter
    1 1/2 c.  self rising flour
    1 1/2 c.  milk

Preheat oven to 350. Combine in sauce pan and mix peach, 1 c. sugar and water. Bring to boil and summer for 10 mins. Remove from heat. Pit butter in deep dish and place in oven to melt. Slowly mix flour, 1 cup sugar and milk. Pour mixture over melted butter, do not stir. Place fruit on top and gently pouring in syrup. Batter will rise to top during baking. Bake for 30-45 mins. Enjoy with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
