Ingredients: 1. 1 1/4 cups water 2. 3 cups flour 3. 2 teaspoons sugar 4. 1 teaspoon salt 5. 1 tablespoon oil | |
1 1/4 cups | water at 105 degrees. |
Add 2 packets of rapid rise yeast and dissolve. Add 1 teaspoon sugar and dissolve.
Measure 1 cup of flour to bowl along with 1 teaspoon sugar and 1 teaspoon salt.
Let stand for 10 minutes until bubbles appear.
Gradually add 2 cups flour. Mix thoroughly.
Remove from bowl and hand kneed for 10 minutes.
Shape into loaf and place in 9 inch, greased bread pan.
Bake at 425 for 5 minutes, then another 20 minutes at 420. Put pan of water in oven.
