Poison Apples

| * preheat oven to 350 degrees | |
| 2 | granny smith apples |
| 2 sticks | butter |
| 1 tsp. | vanilla |
| 1 small can | mtn. dew |
| 2 cans | crescent rolls |
| 1-1/2 c. | sugar |
| cinnamon | |
Directions:
- peel and core the apples and cut into 8 slices each
- roll each apple slice in a crescent roll
- place in a 9x13 buttered pan
- melt the butter and add the sugar, but barely stir it in
- add the vanilla then stir and pour over apples
- pour the mtn. dew around the edge of the pan and sprinkle with cinnamon
- bake for 40 minutes
- serve with ice cream and spoon some sauce from the pan over the top
