To make gel to replace 1 egg, mix 3 tablespoons of water & 1 tablespoon of chia seeds shake or whisk and allow to sit for 10-15 minutes. |
Use as fat replacer in baked goods: mix 1/3 cup chia seeds with 2 cups of water and shake. Can be stored for up to 2 weeks and replace up to half the fat in a recipe.
