    1 lb.  sausage browned and drained
    6 cups  water
    1 bag 2 1/4 cups  dry split peas
    2  potatoes peeled and cubed
    1  onion chopped
    1/2 tsp.  dried thyme
    1/2 tsp.  pepper

1. Wash and sort dried peas. Then combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
2. Cover cook on low for 12 hours
