Chile California Salsa

Ingredients: | |
12 | Tomatillos |
2 cloves | garlic Chopped |
1/4 | White Onion |
1 chopped chipotle chile + 1 tbs sauce 1 ancho chile | |
1 package | dried chile california, (4oz) |
1 tps cumin, roasted
1 1/2 tps oregano, roasted
1/2 tps salt
Directions:
1) Remove stems & seeds from dried chiles
2) Roast on iron skillet
3) Rehydrate peppers in hot water for 15 minutes
4) Roast Tomatillos on griddle or grill until slightly charred ( these can also be
boiled for 10 min.
5) Roast cumin & oregano in small pan until aromatic, 2-3 minutes.
6) Combine all ingredients in food processor and process to desired consistency
