    1 lb  scallops
    1/2 stick  bu.tter
    1 med  onion
    1/4 tsp  salt
    1/4 cup  dry white wine
    2 tsp  corn starch
    1/2 cup  heavy cream
    1/2 cup  fine shredded Swiss cheese or more

Cut scallops in half. Melt butter in skillet on med high. Cook onion stir in scallops and salt. Cook 3-4 min until scallops are white. Heat until boiling.
Mix wine, cornstarch,then stir in scallops.
Heat until boiling, stirring constantly, 1 min, then reduce the heat to med
Stir in cream. Heat 1-2 min until hot. Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted.
