1 cup | butter |
2 1/4 cup | Sifted Flour |
1/2 cup | Finely chopped walnuts |
1/2 cup | sugar |
1 tsp | Vanilla |
Jelly
Mix all ingredients except Jelly
Roll dough less than 1/4 inch thick, cut with 2 inch round cookie cutter
Cut circles from center of half of the rounds
Bake on cookie sheet until edges are lightly browned, cool on wire rack
Spread 2/4 tsp jelly on each solid round. Top with round having cut-out center. Sprinkle with powder sugar.
