French toast overnight

Arrange 12(3/4 thick) slices French or challah bread in a buttered 9 x 13" baking dish. In a large bowl beat 6 eggs, | |
1 1/4 cups | milk |
1/4 cup | half & half |
1/4 cup | sugar |
2 tablespoons | maple syrup |
1 1/2 teaspoon | vanilla extract |
1/4 teaspoon | salt |
Pour over bread, refrigerate and cover overnight. Turn slices over once or twice to be sure they are evenly coated with egg mixture. In the morning,bake in a preheated oven at 400 for 15 min. Turn over and bake for 20 min more or until golden brown.
