HH Pulled Pork with Alabama Sauce Beautiful

4 lb | pork shoulder or pork butt |
3 T | Coarse Salt |
5 T | Liquid Smoke |
1 c | water |
Alabama Sauce Beautiful | |
4 c | water |
1 c | lemon juice |
1 c | plus 8T firmly packed brown sugar |
1 c | butter |
8 T | cider vinegar |
4 T | paprika |
8 t | Worchestershire |
3 t | salt |
2 t | pepper |
Score pork; rub with salt and liquid smoke. Place in crockpot with water and cover and cook on low for overnight, or set at high if using for supper that night. Cool and Shred.
To Make Sauce:
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring constantly! until sugar melts. Boil, uncovered, until reduced to about 5 cups.
