| 1 lb | ground beef |
| 1 cup | chopped onions |
| 1/2 cup | chopped green pepper |
| 2 cloves | garlic, minced |
| 2 16 oz can | diced tomatoes |
| 1 16 oz can | rotel |
| 1 16 oz can | dark red kidney beans |
| 1 16 oz can | pinto beans |
| 1 16 oz can | tomato sauce |
| 4 teaspoons | chili powder |
| 1 teaspoon | dried basil, crushed |
| Salt | |
| pepper to taste |
In large pot cook ground beef, onions, green pepper, and garlic until meat is brown. Drain fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, basil, salt, and pepper. Bring to boil; reduce heat. Cover; simmer for 20 minutes.
