HH Jennys Autumn Chowder

    6 slices  of bacon, chopped
    1 c  onion, chopped
    1 c  water
    2 1/2 c  potatoes, sliced
    2 t  chicken bullion
    3 c  milk
    2 c  whole corn, drained
    1/2 t  pepper
    3 T  flour
    3 c  shredded cheddar cheese
    1 c  carrots, sliced

Fry bacon, add onions, and brown until bacon is crisp. Stir in water, potatoes, carrots and bullion. Simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes. Stir in milk, corn, pepper, and heat. Mix cheese and flour in plastic bag together. Add to soup mixture and stir until melted.
