HH Jennys Autumn Chowder

6 slices | of bacon, chopped |
1 c | onion, chopped |
1 c | water |
2 1/2 c | potatoes, sliced |
2 t | chicken bullion |
3 c | milk |
2 c | whole corn, drained |
1/2 t | pepper |
3 T | flour |
3 c | shredded cheddar cheese |
1 c | carrots, sliced |
Fry bacon, add onions, and brown until bacon is crisp. Stir in water, potatoes, carrots and bullion. Simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes. Stir in milk, corn, pepper, and heat. Mix cheese and flour in plastic bag together. Add to soup mixture and stir until melted.
