Bottom Layer
    1/2 cup  butter
    1/4 cup  sugar
    1/4 cup  powdered baking cocoa
    1 teaspoon  vanilla
    1  egg, beaten
    2 cups  graham cracker crumbs
    1 cup  flaked coconut
Combine butter, sugar, cocoa and vanilla in top of double boiler. Cook over simmering, not boiling, water until butter melts. Stir in egg. Continue cooking, stirring until mixture is thick, about three minutes. Blend in crumbs and coconut. Press into buttered 9 inch square pan. Second Layer
    1/2 cup  butter
    2 tablespoons  milk
1 (3-3/4 oz. vanilla pudding mix
    2 cups  powdered sugar
Beat until light and fluffy. Spread evenly over crust. Chill until firm. Third Layer 1 (6 oz. pkg.) chocolate chips
    2 tablespoons  butter
    1 tablespoon  paraffin wax, (optional)

Melt chocolate, butter, and wax over simmering water. Cool. Spread over pudding layer. Chill. Cut into bars.
