2 tbsp. | butter |
1 cup | chopped onion |
1 tbsp. | curry powder |
1 tsp. | ground cumin |
1/2 tsp. | ginger |
2 | garlic cloves |
1 tsp. | salt |
1/2 tsp. | pepper |
1/4 tsp. | cayenne pepper |
5 cups | frozen peas |
4 cups | chicken broth |
1 can, 19 ounces | chickpeas |
1 cup | apple sauce |
2 tsp. | brown sugar |
1/2 cup | plain yogurt |
1 tbsp. | lime juice |
1. Melt butter on med. add next 8 ingredients. Cook for about 5 min until onions soft
2. Add next 5 ingredients. Stir bring to a boil. Reduce to med. cook for about 4 min. Carefully process with hand blender or blender in batches. Add yogurt and lime juice. Stir makes about 9 cups
