    3 cups  flour
    1 tsp.  salt
    1 tsp.  baking powder
    1 tbsp.  margarine
    1 tbsp.  sour cream
    1  egg
    1 cup  water
    Few drops  yellow food coloring
Filling
    6 med  potatoes mashed
    4 ounces  cheddar
      Salt
      pepper

1. Add cheese to hot potatoes. Blend well and cool at room temperature.

2. Mix first 4 ingredients as for pie crust. Combine sour cream egg, 1 cup of water and food coloring. Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients all at once. Knead lightly. Let dough stand covered, at room temp, at least 1/2 hour.mroll out small amount cut with sharp round cutter.
3. Put small amount 1 tsp. in centre. Fold in half and paste edges as half moon. Boil for 4-6 min until all turn same color. Drain well. Pour 1 tbsp oil over top to keep from sticking. Fry onions and bacon. Pour over boiled perogies or deep fry them too
