Shrimp creole

1/2 cup | chopped onion |
1/2 cup | chopped celery |
1 clove | garlic minced |
3 tbsp. | margarine |
2 cups | canned tomatoes |
1 cup | tomato sauce |
1-1/2 tsp. | salt |
1 tsp. | sugar |
1 tbsp. | Worcestershire |
1/2 tsp. | chili powder |
2 tsp. | cornstarch |
360g | shrimp no ends or shells |
1/2 cup | chopped green peppers |
1. In skillet melt margarine. Add onion, celery and garlic. Sauté until tender. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, sugar, Worcestershire, and chili powder. Simmer for 45 min. Mix cornstarch with 1 tbsp. water. Stir into sauce. Add shrimp and green peppers. Simmer for 5 min. Serve over rice. Serves 6
