Barbecued Lemon Chicken and Sauce

Lemon Marinade | |
1/4 cup | lemonade concentrate thawed |
1 tbsp. | oil |
1 tbsp. | grenadine |
1/2 tsp. | onion powder |
1/2 tsp. | garlic salt |
4 | boneless, skinless chicken breast halves |
1/2 cup | water |
1/4 cup | lemonade concentrate thawed |
2 tbsp. | grenadine syrup |
1 tbsp. | cornstarch |
1 tsp. | grated lemon zest |
2 cups | chopped iceberg lettuce |
Lemon slices halved for garnish
1. Lemon marinade: combine first 5 ingredients in small bowl.
2. Place chicken in large resealable freezer bag. Add marinade. Seal and coat. Refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight. Cook on medium BBQ for 20-25 min. Combine next 5 ingredients in saucepan. Boil until thick.
3. Arrange lettuce on plates. Place chicken on top. Spoon over sauce
