Breakfast Ham and Egg Casserole

Softened butter | |
14-15 slices | bread |
3 c | diced ham |
2 c | shredded cheddar cheese |
1 tsp. | salt |
1/2 tsp. | pepper |
6 | eggs |
3 cups | milk |
Spread butter on both sides of bread. Cut into slamming cubes. Combine bread cubes, ham,cheese, salt,pepper. Stir well. Beat eggs until foamy, stir in milk. Add egg mixture to ham,stirring well. Pour into slightly greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 hr. until golden brown.
10-12 servings.
