4 28oz cans | crushed tomatoes |
2 4oz can | tomato paste |
3 tbs | chopped garlic |
1/2 cup | chopped fresh basil |
1/2 cup | chopped fresh oregano |
1 cup | olive oil |
1 cup | red wine |
1 tbs | kosher salt |
1 tbs | sugar |
1 tsp | black pepper |
1 tsp | crushed red pepper |
Directions
Add oil to Dutch oven, add garlic and cook til soft. Do not burn. Add basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Stir for a few minutes. Add tomato paste and stir for a few minutes. Add everything else, stir and cook for 3 hours. Stir often
