    1 cup  long grain brown rice
    1/2 cup  wild rice
    1 T  dried parsley
    2 tsp  spike seasoning or 2 tsp all-purpose seasoning
    1 tsp  dried thyme
    1/2 tsp  salt
OR
    1 cup  dried parsley
    1/3 cup  garlic powder
    2 T  salt
    2 T  sugar

Use 1 tablespoon of the above mixture with 1/3 cup wild rice and 1/3 cup parboiled long grain rice

Bring 3 1/4 cups of water to boil in a medium saucepan. Add rice mix, cover and simmer for 50 minutes. Remove from heat and wait 10 minutes before fluffing with a fork. Use long grain white rice to reduce cooking time to 35-40 minutes. Wild rice takes quite a while to cook.
Alternate recipe requires only 1 2/3 cup water cooking for 25-30 minutes.
