    1 1/2 #  cubed round steak
S&P Toss in flour to coat Brown in Dutch oven preheated with 1/3 c oil. Brown 5 minutes per side.
    Chop  onion
      garlic
    Slice  green peppers
    1 15 oz can  diced tomatoes
    3/4 can  water

No need to thoroughly cook steaks, just brown, will finish cooking during simmering stage. Once steaks are browned, remove from pan. Add garlic,onion,green pepper and sauté 2-3 minutes.

Put meat back into pan, spoon mix over steaks, add tomatoes and water

Cover and cook on low, 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

Serve over rice!
