1 1/2 # | cubed round steak |
S&P Toss in flour to coat Brown in Dutch oven preheated with 1/3 c oil. Brown 5 minutes per side. | |
Chop | onion |
garlic | |
Slice | green peppers |
1 15 oz can | diced tomatoes |
3/4 can | water |
No need to thoroughly cook steaks, just brown, will finish cooking during simmering stage. Once steaks are browned, remove from pan. Add garlic,onion,green pepper and sauté 2-3 minutes.
Put meat back into pan, spoon mix over steaks, add tomatoes and water
Cover and cook on low, 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
Serve over rice!
