Golden Corn Bread - Grandma's

| Preheat oven to 425* | |
| 1/4 c | butter |
| 1 cup | corn meal |
| 1 c | flour |
| 2-4 T | sugar |
| 4 t | baking powder |
| 1/2 t | salt |
| 1 c | milk |
| 1 | egg |
Mix all ingredients except butter, beat well.
Melt butter in skillet, mix into batter, put in hot pan
Bake 20-25 minutes
