astralagus root is a powerful immune booster. It is a herb and available online or health stores. Shitake mushrooms also boost immunity and have an anti viral effect.Garlic is an antibiotic; ginger is a natural anti inflammatory agent. |
Heat 1 1/2 tsp extra virgin olive oil. Add two large onions, thinly sliced, also three cloves of garlic and 1tbsp of minced ginger. Cook until soft and translucent. Add mushrooms (4oz), 2 large carrots, 2 pieces of astralagus root, 8 cups of mushroom stock, 2 cups of water. Bring to boil, heat and simmer.
Mushroom stock... Make like chicken stock just use Shitake mushroom, simmer 20 min., steep 20 min and add 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce.
