Slap Yourself Spicy Turkey Drums

6 to 8 Turkey Drums | |
One medium | onion |
Cajun or Creole powder seasoning to taste Large Roasting bag | |
Half jar | Tony Chachere's Creole Butter Marinade |
Wash drums and pat dry with paper towel. Pour half of Tony Chachere's Creole Butter Marinade into bowl. Carefully using injector needle inject each drum 3 times. Place drums in large roasting bag. Dice onion and add to bag. Sprinkle half of Cajun or Creole seasoning powder into bag. Shake bag ensuring all drums generously coated. Pour remaining Tony Chachere's Creole Butter Marinade into bag. (Half of jar should remain). Shake bag again. Pierce bag a few times with fork.
Bake at 275 for 2.5 hrs. Then open bag. Broil each side of drums until crispy (roughly 4 minutes per side) . Set timer to help ensure they don't char.
Serve.
Stand back and hear the praises.
Meat will fall off the bone.
