    12 ounces  Italian sausage
    28 ounces  canned artichoke hearts, Chop in food proc./blender until bite size peices
    42 ounces  canned tomatoes
    1 package  onion soup mix
    3 cups  water
    1/2 teaspoon  italian seasoning, 3 or 4 cups according to liking
    1/2 teaspoon  oregano
    1/2 teaspoon  basil

Crumble sausage into peices in soup pot.

Brown sausage and drain fat.

Add remaining ingredients and heat through.
