2 3/4 c | flour |
1 T | baking powder |
1 c | butter |
margarine | |
1 3/4 c | sugar, divided |
2 | eggs |
1 T | cinnamon |
Stir together flour and baking powder-set aside. In a large saucepan, melt butter over very low heat, remove from heat and stir in 1 1/2 cups of the sugar and the eggs until smooth, gradually stir in the flour.
Cover tight. Refrigerate at least one hour or up to three days before baking.
Mix remaining sugar with the cinnamon.
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into sugar/cinnamon mix, turn to coat well.
Place 2" apart on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake @ 375 for 8-12 minutes.
Cool on sheet for 1 minute.
