Here is the recipe for the Flapjacks. Makes a flat bar cookie. It is so easy!! | |
3/4 cup | butter |
3/4 cup | brown sugar |
6 tablespoons | golden syrup, (available at World Market) |
4 1/2 cups | rolled oats |
Melt butter in pan and add brown sugar until melted. Add golden syrup. Stir in oats. Press down mixture onto a cookie sheet.
Cook at 350 for around 20 mins. While mixture is still hot, score with knife into squares or fingers. Leave to completely cool. Store in an airtight container and they will become crisper by the day, Enjoy
