Milo Cookies

Ingredients | |
125 g | butter |
1 cup | caster sugar |
1½ cups | self-raising flour, sifted |
¾ cup | Milo |
1 | egg, beaten |
Method
Cream butter and sugar together.
Add egg and the Milo, then the flour.
Press or sprinkle extra Milo on top of biscuits before baking if desired.
Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes.
Recipe notes
The mixture may be a little 'crumbly' in texture. This is normal - just roll into balls and flatten slightly with back of fork before baking. You can use malted or regular Milo in this recipe. Biscuits will spread quite alot so ensure space between each or make smaller ones. Some reviewers have also suggested pressing more Milo onto the dough before baking for more flavour and this is recommended for more flavour.
